I'm a fan! We got lucky on a Friday evening and two spots opened up at the bar just as we walked in. Others had to wait a bit but over time there was usually some movement/flow since folks typically stay for one drink. Extremely cozy once you get to the speakeasy. We didn't get any snacks or treats out front so can't speak to that, but our drinks were great and extremely creative. Since my partner has dabbled a bit into cocktails and tiki drinks at home, I have become more familiar with "standard" drinks and ingredients and specifically look for ingredients that are unique when looking over cocktail menus. My drink - I think the green banana? was wonderful and unexpected! The matcha and banana liqueur was a great combo. Would visit again when I'm back in NYC, especially if they rotate their menus (which I'm sure they do!)

Cute little speakeasy behind a functioning corner store! I went here on a date and enjoyed their version of a piña (colada). It is in FiDi though, which means there's not much else going on here at night. Good choice as a first stop for an evening before moving on to more lively neighborhoods.

Everything about this place hit the spot for a perfect Thursday night drink with a friend. Walked into the unassuming 'bodega' which was the NICEST smelling corner shop you ever did sniff, and was led to the secret door by the lovely manager, who also, pro-tip can help you pick out your food choices IN the shop and then professionally plate them to your liking. Bartenders were lovely and super helpful, drinks were excellent and unusual too, and the place was chill enough to hear each other but packed enough for a solid fun cocktail bar vibe. Highly recommended and will be heading back for more.

Love this bar! The drinks are so creative I love this is is behind a grocery store. It is so great that you can purchase items from the store and then eat them in the bar. It is small but I would suggest making a reservation in advance. It is such a cute date night place for friends and catch ups (because the music is not to loud) and most of the staff is very friendly. Have been about 4 times and always have a good time!

Super cute speakeasy. You walk into a convenience store and ask to go to the speakeasy and are taken back to the bar. It's super cute with multiple seating options and we were seated at the bar. The bartenders waited on us quickly. I ordered an espresso cocktail which was delicious. I switched to another drink with tequila after which was also fantastic. It's great having a convenience store outside of it because we were able to get water to go to rehydrate after.

Had such an amazing date night here! Tricked my husband into thinking we were going to meet at a grocery store. Love that it actually is a well stocked store even featuring Laneige and Dr. Jart! The lady working at the front was so kind. She was the one who helped plate our snacks for us (note there is a 20% service fee for plating). We paid for the snacks separately, and then she took us through the back entrance where we had the option of sitting at a couch or a table with chairs. We opted for the table with chairs. I really enjoyed both cocktails: Black Sesame and Chilled Espresso. My husband was able to taste the mild sesame flavor, but I definitely couldn't. The Black Sesame also seemed stronger to me in terms of the taste of liquor. Our snacks also paired well with both drinks! We got these butter cookies and chocolate crackers (forgot what they were actually called oops). Would definitely recommend this spot! We had a great time.

We showed up without a reservation, but luckily still got to sit outside. definitely don't recommend just stopping by, reservations go quickly and the space is pretty tight. Concept is really cool and it was so fun to just see the secret bar For me, some drinks were hit/miss? I wanted to try the cotton candy one but it looked like it was no longer available. Otherwise, I recommend the Miso- out of the ones we had it was the most mild. The Pina and Purple Vesper are fun, stronger drinks. For the Pina, it's fun to see it lit!
